This is an exciting time for me, after 2.5 years contracting at RoadTek I'm free to work on my own projects and ideas. Now I just have to work out where to start on my todo list.

CSS Creator

The CSS Creator site has been keeping me busy. I have been adding content and developing a CSS Properties List with a little help from a couple of other CSS Forum members. It is still evolving, more content needs to be added and a few finishing touches. There are other things I need to do before I can get it finished. Still I'm happy with where it's at for now.

The Web Standards Group has invited me to speak at their first Brisbane meeting. If your in town on the 12 May come and join in.

Here's a couple of the many articles I haven't had time to keep up with. MySQL-PHP Restriction Fears Unwarranted an article by Lori MacVittie shows the change of license by MySQL should now have little or no impact on most PHP project that include MySQL libraries.

The year is flying, it's already February.
Email boxes are filled with spam and viruses such as MyDoom

The CSS Forum is going strong, last month was the biggest to date and it looks set to continue growing.
Over 13500 downloads for the PHP MySQL Table Manager and I can only remember one donation Looks like I'll have to find another way to make a living.

CSS Layout Generator

At CSS Creator CSS Layout Generator has just been released. You can generate layouts with a flexible center column and fixed width left and/or right columns. All columns will be the same length, the layout can be centered on the page or full width and a header and footer can be easily added. The Layout is based on a three column CSS Layout designed by
Douglas Livingstone. Next time you are building a website check it out.

The PHP MySql Table Manager 2.8 has now been uploaded with a fix for the empty search error.

A small bug fix has been made to the MySQL Table Manager
The fix corrected a misguided function call to a function that displays the version number in the footer. Only version 2.6 would have been affected.
Thanks Robert for pointing it out.
