While testing the new version of the Table Manager IE managed to cause me some major headaches. Buttons should be pretty flexible tools for web forms, you can put markup between the opening and closing tags and the value attribute should be sent with the form not the markup or text between the tag opening and ending. So you can have multiple buttons in a form and only send the values of the button that was clicked. Now this would be great if only IE would play nicely. IE does strange things such as sending all the button values and sending the content between the tags instead of the assigned value.

So I had many hours of searching and replacing buttons with input elements as the whole of the Table Manager is based on forms. Now since I am back at work the testing has been put on hold for a while. I was expecting testing to show OS problems between linux and windows not browser issues between Firefox and IE. Oh well that's why testing is so important.
